On the eve of the release of her sixth studio album, HERE, Alicia Keys released a short gritty film about NYC entitled The Gospel. It covers vignettes that include themes of police brutality, love, and Keys growing up as a woman on the streets of NYC. This movie is a possible indication that Keys will be going back to her roots on HERE, which will be released this coming Friday. Enjoy The Gospel below.

The Donnas and HAIM have paved the way in recent years for a revival of all girl rock bands. Now, enters Bleached. This rock and roll and punk misfit trio has a great vibe going for them and they are quite frankly the best rock outfit to come out of Los Angeles in a long time. They were fortunate enough to work with renown producer Joe Chiccarelli (Morrissey, The Strokes)  on their LP Welcome the Worms.
