Katy Perry’s newest album is due out in August and she has another project she’s working on as well: motherhood. Her and Orlando Bloom are expecting a child this summer together.
Her new uplifting ode “Daisies” is a vibrant tune about overcoming obstacles in life. The song was produced by the Grammy winning songwriting team The Monsters & Strangerz. “They told me I was out there/tried to knock me down/Took those sticks and stones, showed ’em I could build a house/They tell me that I’m crazy, but I’ll never let ’em change me/’Til they cover me in daisies”, sings Perry on the new track.
