Our final performers this evening have toured with Gracie Abrams, Lizzy McAlpine, and Noah Kahan, and the accolades just keep on coming from legends like Marcus Mumford, Phoebe Bridgers, Lucius, Mark Ronson, JP Saxe, and even the late David Crosby. Sir Elton John says they’re “delicious.”—Brandi Carlisle
Delicious folk music indeed. Noah Kahan cosigned them. Check out the divine “Wishes” below. Fresh off their first-ever US headlining tour, the band are now gearing up to release their debut album, All for Something, on May 24th via Mom+Pop.
“I remember immediately falling in love with ‘Wishes’ the moment Cin brought it to us. When she asked Maya and I to write our own verses, I was unsure of sharing something so revealing. I truly thought I wasn’t going to be able to articulate feelings so vulnerable and personal to myself. But as soon as I sat down and began writing the emotions poured out of me and onto the paper. I couldn’t hold back. It was something my physical and spiritual being needed. This song became such a crucial turning point in my song writing. Now, I only want to create honest art and never want to shy away from vulnerability. I hope that this song helps the listener to find the motivation to be honest with themselves and the people they love. While we may feel isolated it is so important to remember you are not alone… and you are not a burden,” Judah of the trio says.
