Be careful what you might wish for because alternative rock band The Thing might just be the next big, well, thing. A cross between The Strokes and where the Kings of Leon left off, Brooklyn’s The Thing are ready to explode. Their gritty vocals, guitar riffs, and drum beats might what we need to end the so called rock and roll draught of the past few decades. Michael Carter, Jack Bradley, Zane Acord, Lucas Ebeling comprise this promising rock act and I had the chance to interview the band via zoom to talk about their latest video for “Midnight”, how they recorded their new album within a month’s time, and the touring process—(as their latest tour kicks off in New York City on February 2nd to a sold out audience.)
