Island recording artist and Sweden native, Tove Lo, is set to release Queen of the Clouds on September 30, which features the single, “Habits (Stay High)”. Tove Lo is a VH1 You Oughta Know artist and was selected by Rolling Stone Magazine as one of “10 New Artists You Need To Know”. Tove has been described as a “Swedish songbird” by Nylon Magazine. Her sound is just right down funky but yet translates to a pop audience. The single “Habits (Stay High) touches on some dark issues–using substances to deal with heartbreak.
Her new album, Queen of the Clouds is described as a three-part love story. Tove Lo is a graduate of Stockholm’s prestigious and rigorous Rytmus Music school, which was a springboard for young swedish artists Robyn, Erik Hassle, and Amanda Mair. As a member of Max Martin’s writing collective Tove earned her way with Icona Pop’s “We Got The World” and Girls Aloud “Something New”. Tour dates and music video for “Habits” are featured below.
