Boston artist Will Dailey has launched season 2 of Sound of Our Town Podcast, which sees Dailey headed to different towns to scope out the local music scene. Dailey also has put out the $10 Song Initiative, which is an ongoing experiment in human connection. His 2018 album Golden Walker walks the fine line of indie throttling the mainstream. His material is reminiscent of Pete Yorn meets John Mayer. He also hit the stage with legends including Eddie Vedder and Willie Nelson. He is in the midst of a tour with Jacob Dylan and The Wallflowers.
Modern Frequency sat down with the singer/songwriter via zoom to talk about his tour with The Wallflowers, what’s on the horizon with his new music, and how he’s the Anthony Bourdain of music. Watch the interview below.

Great interview, Rob! I loved his comment about how someone’s reputation enters the room before the music. I have experienced that feeling but never thought of it that way. I love being an opening act because I get to start from scratch with most of the audience. Good stuff. And the “disgraceland” podcast. Sounds interesting!
