The Academy Is…returns after a near 18 year hiatus. The Chicago band is coming back with Almost There, their new studio album of original material since 2008’s Fast Times at Barrington High. Their new single “2005” is a dreamy tune with melodic undertones. Husky and ethereal vocals backed by lush R&B tunes Katie Tupper croons on her new love song “Safe Ground”. Her new album Greyhound arrives January 21 on the Arts and Crafts label. The ever eclectic Bryce Vine has announced a new album that’s in the pipeline called LET’S DO SOMETHING STUPID! out February 20 via Big Noise Music Group. Vine is known for his hits “Drew Barrymore” and “La La Land”. The new album showcases Bryce’s diverse talents as it blends pop, punk, ska, and modern pop. Rapidly rising pop artist Maria Domark is a mix if Bjork and Sky Ferreira had a musical baby. She debuted her new song called “is this what you wanted?”, self produced in collaboration with Canadian DJ and producer Crimson Child.
