Magna Carta Holy Grail is the name of Jay-Z’s newest album and is set to debut on the Fourth of July. Following the craziness that was Yeezus, Jay-Z plans on giving the album away for free to the first one million Samsung Galaxy S III, Galaxy S 4 and Galaxy Note II users. There will be a Magna Carta App to be opened.
This is Jay-Z’s twelfth album with producer Rick Rubin in tow. Pharrell, Swizz Beatz, and Timbaland are also seen contributing to the album in a commercial that debuted during the NBA finals game tonight. “The album is about, like this duality of how do you navigate through this whole thing, through success, through failures, through all this and remain yourself,” Jay says of the album.
