Bass Drum Of Death originally began as a solo project of lead singer’s John Barrett back in 2007, but that all changed as band members came and went. Now the trio consists of John Barrett, Jim Barrett, and Ian Kirkpatrick.
The Oxford, Mississippi band has a heavy garage rock influence to it, but their musical influences range. The trio’s new album SIX will be released on on September 12 and if the lead single’s “Do Nothing” indication of what the album will sound like, then you are in for a heavy dose of rock and roll nostalgia.
