Billianne is soaking up Maggie Rogers rays of folk sunshine on “Daydream”. She blends soul and folk in a mature fashion.
“Daydream came from me constantly thinking and talking about the future,” shares Billianne. “I was walking through the thrift store buying mugs for an apartment that I didn’t (and still don’t) have yet. I thought that was kinda funny so in my next session with my friends Nick and Duncan, we wrote about it. It then went on to mean more than that. It’s now also about dreaming of a life full of adventure, trinkets, love and companionship. Daydream marks the new avenue of my upcoming releases, and I couldn’t be more proud of it and how it opens up this new world of sound for me.”
