Mariah Carey has finally set a release date for her 11th studio album, The Art of Letting Go. It will be released on May 6 and she has released yet another single from the forthcoming album called “You’re Mine (Eternal)”. Her breathy vocals make the song sound very sensual, not to mention the high octaves she reaches at the end of the song. The rest of the song falls flat, though, as it mixes her previous songs “We Belong Together” and “Touch My Body” in a rehashed Mariah Carey tune that sounds all too familiar. Pop meets country with Sweden-American pop rock outfit Grizfolk. The band opens three sold out shows with Bastille next week, including a show at NYC’s Webster Hall. Grizfolk will be playing Pianos in NYC January 23 and headlines the Troubador in West Hollywood, California on January 29. The band plans to play SXSW this spring and open for ZZ Ward. Neon Trees cracked the mainstream music scene in 2012 with their infectious single, “Everybody Talks”.
