New Artist Profile: Dark Honey

Indie pop band Dark Honey, based out of upstate New York, is comprised of brothers Jimi, Ben, and Joe Woodul and mutual friend and colleague Dan DeKalb. After a brief stint living down South, the band reconvened in NYC recently.

Their colorful indie pop/rock blend will see them to the Rockwood Music Hall stage on November 7. Their song “Stinging Nettle” is a staple of the band’s and it depicts falling down and the pride of getting up again when troubles hit. The song was featured on Spotify and the Weekly Buzz.
