Pleasure Pill might just be the dose of rock that we need. Reminiscent of brit rock band Oasis, the band’s new album Hang A Star is a 90s alt dream. The band even received the Oasis seal of approval from Oasis’s Liam Gallagher calling the band “Dangerous”.
The San Diego foursome just released the video for the laid back gem of a tune called “Don’t Fly Away”, which can be seen below. The band’s debut album is housed with melodic ear worms that you cannot get out of your head. This could be Oasis version 2 for the social media age even though Oasis just recently reunited.
The band is having three album release shows: one in Los Angeles and the other in New York City and another in their hometown of San Diego. I sat down with lead singer Jonah Paz via zoom and we discussed the Gallagher brothers influence and impact they had on him and the band, the new album, and holding the pillars of rock music up in 2025.
