Boston artist Will Dailey has launched season 2 of Sound of Our Town Podcast, which sees Dailey headed to different towns to scope out the local music scene. Dailey also has put out the $10 Song Initiative, which is an ongoing experiment in human connection. His 2018 album Golden Walker walks the fine line of indie throttling the mainstream. Modern Frequency loves finding gems under the radar and Jess Nolan is a fierce female that is bringing back the great times of Tori Amos, Paula Cole, Sarah McLachlan amongst others from the 90s women’s folk movement. Lizzy Goodman’s book Meet Me In the Bathroom was an in depth look at the garage rock early 00s NYC rock scene. The book covered The Strokes, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, LCD Soundsystem, among others. Now, the book is getting the documentary treatment. It will open in theaters in New York and Los Angeles on November 4 and nationwide on November 8.
