Well Linkin Park’s new song is called “Heavy” and it’s anything but. Their new album “One More Light” is due out in May. The singer you hear on the track is Kiiara, most noted for her song “Gold”, which racked up an impressive 60 Million views on YouTube. Who knew Kansas City had a hip rock scene? Kansas City’s, Hembree, who formed in 2015, is a relatively new rock act with their new single, “Holy Water”. It’s a sleek alt rock single that sounds promising for the trio’s future and the resurgence of a brand new rock scene. The lyrics, “holy water/running dry/future fire/feel the light”, are about a relationship that demands change. Lyricist, visionary, and NYC based rapper Infinity is building a buzz for himself with his single “Talk That Lingo”. Infinity hails from West Palm Beach, Florida and has roots in London and Central Europe. The rapper is currently prepping for his EP release in 2017, which has an array of sounds. Young the Giant and opening group Ra Ra Riot played Radio City last night. The melodies of Ra Ra Riot geared the crowd ready for what was an unforgettable performance from Young the Giant. Sameer Gadhia danced around with a cowbell and showed off his moves a la Michael Jackson. The band boasted a surprise as well with a string piece quartet during the middle of their set as well.
