With an EP and album under her belt already, Cornelia Murr is not exactly a new comer to the scene. She’s following in the footsteps of the greats: Tori Amos, Paula Cole, and Sara Bareilles. Her psychedelic throwback sound makes her one of a kind though.
Born in London then spending sometime in Los Angeles, Cornelia found space to build upon her ethereal sound in a small town in Nebraska, as we discuss. Thus, she wrote and recorded a stunning, gorgeous album called Run To The Center—out at the end of this month (February 28). It’s a reflection of where she is today—a place of reflection and solitude. She hits Brooklyn’s Union Pool come February 27 and 28.
