Canadian quartet, Half Moon Run, are gaining some steam in both Canada and the United States. Their sound is reminiscent of 70s rock and roll. Modern Frequency sat down with drummer Dylan Phillips of the band for yet another podcast to talk social media, the band’s influences, and the hype surrounding the band’s nostalgic sound. Big Picture Media just had their CMJ showcase and Modern Frequency was invited. Janet Jackson’s hiatus is officially history. After close to seven years without new material, Jackson finally releases the first single from her forthcoming album called “No Sleeep”.
