Electro/pop artist SLOANE has been running along the Los Angeles circuit for quite some time now. You just didn’t realize it. Upcoming singer songwriter, Matt Maeson, should be on everyone’s musical radar. He not only has signed to Atlantic Records, but has opened up for Bishop Briggs to Mumford and Sons while on tour. He is making quite a name for himself especially with his style of blues and rock. Maeson and his family were like musical nomads as he grew up, reaching destinations–even prisons–to play for. Childish Gambino’s “This Is America” is the best video of the year thus far. The video is a well crafted masterpiece that illustrates exactly what is going on in today’s modern society. It could be considered so offensive that it should come with a disclaimer. We won’t give any of the deets away. The video was directed by Hiro Murai, who is known well for his story telling.
