Electronic/R&B duo Phantogram are ready to release their still untitled fourth album. The pair — lead vocalist/keyboardist Sarah Barthel and vocalist and guitarist Josh Carter — have released a new tune called “Into Happiness.” The vibrant, uplifting single is the group’s first new material since 2016’s Three album. The single strikes a balance between heavy bassline funk and an 80s synth beat that is featured in the chorus. First listen of NYC singer Lydia Halloway’s single “Dancing To You” it feels in the vein of Kylie Minogue and Kiesza. The song is a pulsating vibe of confection you cannot get out of your head. Brooklyn based band Vampire Weekend’s hiatus is just about over. They are back after close to six years with new two new songs “Harmony Hall” and “2021”. The new album Father of the Bride will be a double album due sometime later this year. Priests came to the public’s attention during the 2016 election. Their last album, 2017’s Nothing Feels Natural, generated some serious buzz for the punk outfit. Today the band whets everyone appetite even more with the release of their sophomore project, The Seduction of Kansas, and also with debuting the self titled video for it, which can be seen below. The band has said, according to Stereogum, that Portishead and Nine Inch Nails were some influences going into record this album. Check out the video for the single for “Seduction of Kansas” below. DJ and Canadian record producer Kaytranada releases three new songs today. The smooth “Nothin’ Like U” featuring Ty Dolla $ign, a second song called “Chances” featuring his Canadian counterpart and contributor Shay Lia, and a song called “It Was Meant 2 B”. This is off a mini new project that Kaytra just released today. He plans on releasing more songs as an LP next year as he stated on Twitter.
Leave it to pop artist SSION to release an 8 minute creative video for his song “Inherit”. Modern Frequency considers him the gay Madonna.
