Priests came to the public’s attention during the 2016 election. Their last album, 2017’s Nothing Feels Natural, generated some serious buzz for the punk outfit. Today the band whets everyone appetite even more with the release of their sophomore project, The Seduction of Kansas, and also with debuting the self titled video for it, which can be seen below. The band has said, according to Stereogum, that Portishead and Nine Inch Nails were some influences going into record this album. Check out the video for the single for “Seduction of Kansas” below. The album is due out April 5.

DJ and Canadian record producer Kaytranada releases three new songs today. The smooth “Nothin’ Like U” featuring Ty Dolla $ign, a second song called “Chances” featuring his Canadian counterpart and contributor Shay Lia, and a song called “It Was Meant 2 B”. This is off a mini new project that Kaytra just released today.  He plans on releasing more  songs as an LP next year as he stated on Twitter.

Leave it to pop artist SSION to release an 8 minute creative video for his song “Inherit”. Modern Frequency considers him the gay Madonna. The creativity bursting form SSION is amazing to say the least and proves he is dedicated to his craft. “Inherit” is off of O, the singer’s new audiovisual album. Check out the video below.

Janet Jackson has released a new song with rapper Daddy Yankee called “Made For Now”. The video is reminiscent of “Escapade” and moves to an upbeat rhythm. Jackson’s last album, Unbreakable, was released in 2015. Check out the video for “Made For Now” below.

Justin Timberlake has released a new song called “Soulmate” which is a brand spanking new song that is not off the Man of the Woods album. It’s an R&B laced track that has a catchy chorus that could have been a leftover from the Woods sessions, who knows? Take a listen to it below.

R&B star SZA just released her video for “Garden (Say It Like Dat)” and it’s a getaway to the forest where she frolics to and fro. Childish Gambino aka Donald Glover makes a cameo in the video as well. The forest backdrop gives way to the smooth R&B track. Watch it below.

Nine Inch Nails just released “God Break Down The Door” from their Bad Witch EP, which will end their trilogy of albums following Not the Actual Events and ADD VIOLENCE. Bad Witch is out June 22 and a North American tour is to follow. Some are calling the track below “A Perfect Drug” Version 2.0. You must hand it to Trent Reznor and co. though as they funked this track up with a horn section. Listen to the song below.

Dave Matthews Band hiatus is officially over as they release a new song today called “Samurai Cop (Oh Joy Begin)”. This is the first of new studio material since 2012’s Away From the World. This is the first single off the upcoming ninth album entitled Come Tomorrow due out June 8. The track is very laid back as Dave Matthews reflects, “Let’s not forget these early days/remember we began the same”. Dave Matthews Band chose to record with several different producers, including John Alagia, Mark Batson, Rob Cavallo and Rob Evans for this album as well. Check out the song…

Florence and the Machine is back! This song, as simple as it is, is very organic, and raw and boasts Florence Welch’s vocals. The track was released for Record Store Day but do expect more from Flo and the gang later this year. Check the video out below.

Glasgow synth rock trio Chvrches are showing signs of growth with each album. Their upcoming effort and uniquely titled, Love is Dead, has already spawned two amazing captivating singles. Their first release off the upcoming project, “Get Out” and their newest creation below called “My Enemy” featuring lead singer from the National, Matt Berninger, who laid down his deep resonant vocals to. Both lead singer of Chvrches, Lauren Mayberry, and Berninger sing “And you could be my enemy/And you could be my judge/If you could start remembering all the time that you used up”.
