First listen of NYC singer Lydia Halloway’s single “Dancing To You” it feels in the vein of Kylie Minogue and Kiesza. The song is a pulsating vibe of confection you cannot get out of your head. Her upcoming EP Never Meant To Hurt You is out this Spring. “‘Dancing To You’ is about two things,” declares Halloway. “It’s about wanting someone’s attention, but it is also about the music itself”. Brooklyn based band Vampire Weekend’s hiatus is just about over. They are back after close to six years with new two new songs “Harmony Hall” and “2021”. The new album Father of the Bride will be a double album due sometime later this year. Frontman Ezra Koenig told Beats 1 the following, “It was hard to imagine at first, what does a Vampire Weekend feature look like, cause we’ve never done it,” Koenig said. “And then I realized, our whole thing was that we make record with a small crew, whether it’s the early days, me and Rostam Batmanglij sitting…

Priests came to the public’s attention during the 2016 election. Their last album, 2017’s Nothing Feels Natural, generated some serious buzz for the punk outfit. Today the band whets everyone appetite even more with the release of their sophomore project, The Seduction of Kansas, and also with debuting the self titled video for it, which can be seen below. The band has said, according to Stereogum, that Portishead and Nine Inch Nails were some influences going into record this album. Check out the video for the single for “Seduction of Kansas” below. The album is due out April 5.

DJ and Canadian record producer Kaytranada releases three new songs today. The smooth “Nothin’ Like U” featuring Ty Dolla $ign, a second song called “Chances” featuring his Canadian counterpart and contributor Shay Lia, and a song called “It Was Meant 2 B”. This is off a mini new project that Kaytra just released today.  He plans on releasing more  songs as an LP next year as he stated on Twitter.

Leave it to pop artist SSION to release an 8 minute creative video for his song “Inherit”. Modern Frequency considers him the gay Madonna.
