Justin Timberlake has released a new song called “Soulmate” which is a brand spanking new song that is not off the Man of the Woods album. It’s an R&B laced track that has a catchy chorus that could have been a leftover from the Woods sessions, who knows? Take a listen to it below.

R&B star SZA just released her video for “Garden (Say It Like Dat)” and it’s a getaway to the forest where she frolics to and fro. Childish Gambino aka Donald Glover makes a cameo in the video as well. The forest backdrop gives way to the smooth R&B track. Watch it below.

Nine Inch Nails just released “God Break Down The Door” from their Bad Witch EP, which will end their trilogy of albums following Not the Actual Events and ADD VIOLENCE. Bad Witch is out June 22 and a North American tour is to follow. Some are calling the track below “A Perfect Drug” Version 2.0. You must hand it to Trent Reznor and co. though as they funked this track up with a horn section. Listen to the song below.

Dave Matthews Band hiatus is officially over as they release a new song today called “Samurai Cop (Oh Joy Begin)”. This is the first of new studio material since 2012’s Away From the World. This is the first single off the upcoming ninth album entitled Come Tomorrow due out June 8. The track is very laid back as Dave Matthews reflects, “Let’s not forget these early days/remember we began the same”. Dave Matthews Band chose to record with several different producers, including John Alagia, Mark Batson, Rob Cavallo and Rob Evans for this album as well. Check out the song…

Florence and the Machine is back! This song, as simple as it is, is very organic, and raw and boasts Florence Welch’s vocals. The track was released for Record Store Day but do expect more from Flo and the gang later this year. Check the video out below.

Glasgow synth rock trio Chvrches are showing signs of growth with each album. Their upcoming effort and uniquely titled, Love is Dead, has already spawned two amazing captivating singles. Their first release off the upcoming project, “Get Out” and their newest creation below called “My Enemy” featuring lead singer from the National, Matt Berninger, who laid down his deep resonant vocals to. American Idol winner and rocker David Cook will be performing this Thursday at NYC’s Le Poisson Rouge at 8 PM. The singer is out to promote his new EP Chromance featuring the single “Gimme Heartbreak”. Alt rock band The New Tarot are opening. A bit about the Brooklyn sister duo: The Walker sisters and back up band are carving a unique niche in this day and age of pretty dull music with their guitar/keyboard driven alt pop rock music. When first hearing Sydney Wayser, aka CLARA-NOVA, you’ll hear her breathy vocals and husky voice that remind you of Florence Welch but with an Ellie Goulding electro vibe. Her music project is a revolutionary french sound that breaks the rules in today’s contemporary electronica scene. “Echo” will be released on February 2 from her new EP Iron Age, which is out March 2 on Kobalt Recordings. Indie pop band Dark Honey, based out of upstate New York, is comprised of brothers Jimi, Ben, and Joe Woodul and mutual friend and colleague Dan DeKalb. After a brief stint living down South, the band reconvened in NYC recently. Their colorful indie pop/rock blend will see them to the Rockwood Music Hall stage on November 7. Their song “Stinging Nettle” is a staple of the band’s and it depicts falling down and the pride of getting up again when troubles hit. The song was featured on Spotify and the Weekly Buzz. Matt Friedman and Scott Mellis aka The Brinks are turning over a new leaf. The duo, who has been together for a few years now, have been catching the attention of rappers Pharell and Pusha T. Now the band is slightly switching up their tune to a more alt/pop sound. Check their new tune out for “Honey” below off their next upcoming project.
